You are hereby "officially notified" that the 2024 Plymouth City Dog Tags become delinquent on February 1, 2024. If there has been a change in your dog status, please call so your information can be updated.
All dogs four (4) months of age or older by January 1, 2024, must purchase a 2024 city dog tag. A rabies vaccination certificate that does not expire before June 30th, 2023, must be presented before a dog tag may be purchased.
A $15.00 per month penalty is imposed on all dog tags purchased after January 31, 2024. Dog owners not purchasing 2024 City Dog Tags before April 1st, 2024, or in "violation" of the City's Dog Ordinance may be prosecuted. Dog owners not purchasing 2024 City Dog Tags are in violation of the city's dog ordinance.
Dog tags may be purchased at the Plymouth City Hall on:
Monday - Thursday, - 7:30 am. - 3:30 p.m.
Fridays, - Closed
If you are unable to make it into the office during these hours, we do have a drop box by the front door that you can include your check and a copy of your current rabies vaccination certificate. We will then mail you the dog tag if this helps with your schedule.
This violation can affect other funding you may receive from other services.
