Water and sewer service deposit shall be $100 if "New Resident Information" form is filled out completely and truthfully. Failure to fill out form completely and truthfully will allow the City of Plymouth to collect a $600 deposit.
Water meters are read around the 5th working day of the month and are mailed between the 8th and 10th of the month. The due date is the last day of the month.
The City of Plymouth asks that all utility bills be paid at City Hall during open hours, or in the wall drop box for your convenience. The city also provides an automatic withdrawal (ACH) from any checking or savings account on the due date. ACH forms are available at City Hall or on the Forms page.
The City is set up for you to pay by credit card at City Hall during regular office hours, or online at GovPayNet. (Processing fees will apply.)
A 10% penalty will be charged on all bills paid after the due date.
Water service will be shut off on all delinquent accounts, and a turn-on fee plus the total delinquent bill must be paid before service will be turned back on.
Garbage pickup is on Wednesday mornings. Please have it out curbside by 5:00 a.m. You have a choice of three garbage cart sizes to meet your weekly household garbage needs:
32-Gallon Cart for $20.00 per Month
64-Gallon Cart for $21.00 per Month
96-Gallon Cart for $22.50 per Month
An unlimited number of garbage bags may be placed inside your garbage cart as long as the lid closes. Stickers for additional bags are available at City Hall for $2 each.
Yard waste, hazardous household materials, paint, clean newspaper, magazines, and clean cardboard are not allowed in your garbage.
Recycling pickup is curbside at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesdays. Please refer to your "Quick Sort Recycling Guide" for items allowed in recycling. There is no limit to the amount of recycling allowed per week.
Spring Cleanup
The City of Plymouth provides an annual spring cleanup day for all residents. The notice will be posted and published in advance of the date and materials being accepted.
